Condition – Excellent working and Cosmetic condition / The Mark III on Steroids / These Amps were favored by Rock Groups Performing in large Arena in the 1980’s / This Amp I was told by Mesa Boogie that The Serial # K500 was the first Mark III Coliseum 300 made at their factory / These Amps are rare and a limited amount were made / This Amp shares the Same Mark III 90 Watt Preamps and functions / The Coliseum 300 has larger Transformers and 2 Extra Power Tube in the Output section boosting the Output to 160-180 Watts Simul-Class and has the 1/2 power reduction Switch on the Front Panel / There are foot switch jacks on the rear chassis and front Panel for Rhythm 2, EQ( 5 band ) and Lead / Also the 3 modes are switchable by Pull Switches and a toggle switch on the Front control Panel / Direct out and effect loop jacks are on the rear panel / Power tubes installed in Amp are 4 (6L6’s) and 2 (EL-34’s ) / These amps Deliver Good Crunch / Distortion / Fluid Leads / Crisp Rhythms and More / There is a cooling Fan inside these Amps to keep the air circulating pass the Power Tubes / (If Pair the Coliseum 300 up with a Pair of Mesa 4×12 Cabinets spread far to left and right stand back for 3rd Dimension sound)
